• PROFILE

Minserve members have extensive operations, management and technical capability and experience in underground coal and metalliferous mining. This includes all facets of mining, planning, design, geomechanics, operations, safety, commercial and legal and other aspects such as shaft sinking and tunnelling. The group has particular experience in mine ventilation and atmosphere control areas including safety and emergency evacuation. There is also experience in provision of short courses and training in many areas and in particular mine ventilation and mine evaluation economics topics. This experience has been obtained in a working environment and applied to provide clients with cost effective optimum results.

Assignments have been varied ranging from audits and reviews of existing operations, mine planning and technical advice, simulations, feasibility studies, equipment and system studies, innovative mining solutions, complex design assignments, insurance claims, business loss, due diligence and expert witness. There is considerable experience in research, development and demonstration of new concepts and approaches.

Expertise is available to cover statutory requirements, health and safety, expert witness issues, accident investigation and mines rescue.
