    In the area of mine geotechnics, Minserve has experienced professionals to manage investigation and testing programs, interpret results, and design pits, panels and dumps. Minserve also has expertise in surface geotechnics, for earthworks infrastructure which supports mine operations. These include foundation and borrow investigation, water and process waste management, and landform and closure planning.

    Utilising a variety of geotechnical software we can provide direct insight into the mechanisms of magnitude stress and deformation in rock masses, for example, bedding plane separation and goaf formation, surface subsidence, formation of surface cracking, and changes in groundwater inflows.

    Our strong in-house expertise in numerical modelling of in situ and mining stress conditions facilitates the design and layout of underground mines and highwall mining pillar widths.
